Avidyne Standard Warranty Information
Note: The warranty information below is presented to assist customers by addressing some of the commonly asked questions about our Product warranties and the procedures associated with making a warranty claim.
The general information below is not a substitute for, or expansion of, the terms and conditions contained in the original Product warranty which was included as part of the applicable product “Pilot’s Operating Handbook”.
For your easy reference, you may download a copy of the current version of the Pilot’s Operating Handbook for available Avidyne Products within the Publications Library page of this website. Depending on the delivery date of your Product, the warranty terms and conditions within the current revision of the Pilot’s Operating Handbook may not be identical to that contained within your original Product warranty – only the original Product warranty is applicable to your Product.
What we warrant:
Generally, the Avidyne Corporation warrants that Products manufactured by it will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twenty-four months from the date of delivery. If our Product fails to conform to this warranty then we will, at our sole discretion, either repair or replace the Product or provide a refund of the purchase price of the Product. Avidyne’s warranty represents its sole responsibility for its Product and in no event will Avidyne be responsible or liable for any other direct, indirect, consequential, special or other damage claim – all as more specifically stated in the original Product warranty.
Avidyne's warranty does not provide coverage for hardware upgrades or for the addition of new product features through software upgrades.
Avidyne's warranty does not cover shipping, customs, or duty fees for international customers.
How to make a warranty claim:
In the event you believe you have a possible warranty claim, please contact an Avidyne authorized service facility. You may locate an Avidyne Distributor by using the Locate a Distributor feature of this website.
If you must return your Product to Avidyne for warranty service your Avidyne Distributor must first contact Avidyne to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Avidyne will not accept any Product for service without an RMA number.
To the extent the information herein, or your Avidyne Distributor, does not answer your questions about our warranty or warranty procedures, please call an Avidyne technical support representative. Our Technical support representatives are available 7:00am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday at (888) 723-7592 or (781) 402-7592. You may also send a Fax to (781) 402-7599. We do not accept collect calls. Please have the model/serial number of the Product available when you call, along with as many details as possible about the nature of the issue. We will respond by telephone or Fax within one business day of receiving your communication.
