The next generation flight display for Cirrus just got even better. Vantage software release 12.1 adds expanded navigator compatibility, new autopilot support, and additional features designed to make your upgrade path more flexible and capable.
Software release 12.1 highlights:
- Compatibility with GNS WAAS and GTN series navigators
- Support for the new Avidyne DFC110 Digital Autopilot, including VNAV capability
- Approach minimums information on the PFD

Replace your legacy S-TEC 55X with the precision of the DFC90 or the new DFC110 with VNAV capability.
If your upgrading you’re autopilot first, your current Entegra E1 PFD will need a MOD55 upgrade for compatibility. Your Avidyne dealer can assist you.
A DFC90 autopilot or the new DFC110 autopilot is required for all Vantage installations. VNAV functionality with the DFC110 requires IFDs and Vantage.
Choose the Navigators That Work for You
Vantage support for GNS and GTN series navigators is coming soon, giving Entegra-equipped Cirrus owners greater freedom to upgrade on their own terms. Whether you are ready for a full panel upgrade now or want a more flexible path to modernization, Vantage gives you more ways to move forward.
Note that IFD navigators support some additional functionality that is not supported with GNS/GTN configurations, including FMS display and control on the MFD, synchronized CAS messaging, and SVS redundancy. For maximum functionality, Avidyne IFD navigators remain the recommended configuration with Vantage.
Vantage 12 Flight Displays
Install the Vantage 12 PFD and MFD and enjoy a powerful, modern glass cockpit experience with familiar interfaces, crystal-clear visuals, 3D Synthetic Vision, and integrated control.
Avidyne recommends adding the Full-Redundancy Kit, which adds a second Air Data Computer and Magnetometer for full ADAHRS redundancy and added peace of mind during IFR operations.
Complete Your Stack
Complete your flight deck by upgrading the rest of your stack. It’s a great opportunity to replace your factory audio panel, switch to a remote mounted transponder, and add ADS-B In to your airplane.
Avidyne recommends the AMX240 Audio Panel, the AXP322 Remote Mount Transponder, and the SkyTrax200 ADS-B In Receiver for maximum functionality with your Vantage 12.
