European VFR Charts for Avidyne EX600, EX500 and EX5000 MFDs
Avidyne and Jeppesen continue our partnership to further enhance safety for European customers with electronic versions of the Jeppesen (Bottlang) VFR Manual. Avidyne’s CMax™ Electronic Approach Chart software, which includes Jeppesen’s worldwide coverage of airport diagrams, is standard on all new EX600, EX500 and EX5000 Multi-Function Displays (MFDs). And now, Avidyne is offering Jeppesen’s European VFR Charts package (formerly Bottlang Airfield Manual) for display on CMax-equipped Avidyne MFDs. Jeppesen’s European VFR Charts package is the most comprehensive European VFR flight guide available, covering over 2200 airports in 29 European countries. As with CMax Charts, most European VFR Charts are geo-referenced so that the ‘ownship’ symbol and flight plan position can be overlaid right on the chart display.
