Entegra Release 7
Ordering InformationThe Entegra Release 7 upgrade can be ordered directly from an Authorized Avidyne Distributor. The EXP5000 PFD(s) need to be removed by your Authorized Avidyne Distributor and sent to Avidyne’s support center for the software and hardware upgrades. A new R7 flash memory will be provided for the EX5000 MFD upgrade, which will be installed by your dealer. The EXP5000 PFD software and hardware upgrades will be completed at the Avidyne factory service center. Avidyne will schedule appointments through your Avidyne Distributor for the service. We request that you find a time that is convenient for you and your aircraft during normal maintenance. Please have your Distributor call Avidyne at 800-284-3963 to schedule your upgrade. Pricing does not include service center charges for removal, reinstallation, calibration, labor, or dealer shipping to Avidyne. Please note that owners of EXP5000-equipped aircraft should not upgrade their 430s to 430Ws (WAAS) until such time that Release 7 is available. Note: If you have already upgraded your 430s/530s to 430W/530W, you must comply with the Mandatory Service Bulletin available here.
