Next Dimension Aircraft (ND) today announced an innovative and industry-first personalized pre-owned aircraft program designed to provide fully-customized Cirrus SR22 aircraft with a high-performance Tornado Alley Turbo powerplant and Avidyne Entegra Release 9 avionics suite.

ND President, Scott Crenshaw commented. “We recognize a niche that exists for customers that want a safe, warranty-backed high-performance aircraft, but don’t want to bear the costs of a new plane; nor be forced to deal with the large loss in value generally associated with a new aircraft purchase.”

The premium configuration offered by ND is named the “Worpe9™” denoting the “World Peace” feature of the TAT powerplant and the R9 Avidyne avionics panel.  The “Worpe 9™” package includes: new GAMISPEC™ IO-550N Engine, TAT TN System newly configured for Electronic Engine Controls including Electronically Controlled Wastegate for Turbo Density Normalization (TDN™), aka “Density Controller™” and Automatic Mixture Control (GAMI’s Mixture Magic™), and Avidyne’s R9 Avionics Package.   The result is a higher performance powerplant and a more capable avionics package than is available at the factory for hundreds of thousands of dollars less.  Some details of the new TAT powerplant will not be released until spring of 2010 due to proprietary considerations.  Aircraft modified in advance of the new features will be upgraded at no cost to the owner.
