Matt Nuffort’s passion for aviation spans the extents of his memory. He obtained his pilot’s license at the age of 17 and now holds commercial and CFI certificates with instrument and multi-engine ratings. Formerly the lead engineer responsible for updating the USAF fleet with new communications, navigation, and surveillance equipment to ensure worldwide access to airspace, Matt is presently a senior product manager at Avidyne Corporation, where he functions as general manager for datalink systems and the Release 9 integrated avionics system and is responsible for defining the product roadmap based on customer feedback. Matt holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and Masters of Science degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Public Policy from MIT.
