This position is open for a self-motivated, highly organized individual with excellent PCB design skills. The Circuit Board Designer is primarily responsible for combining the electrical schematics, mechanical design, and other system requirements into a physical PCBA implementation. This includes supporting board fabrication, processing, assembly, and test. Secondary responsibilities include prototyping design, test fixture design, initial bring-up support, environmental test, PCB vendor interfacing, component engineering, and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics packaging requirements.
The Circuit Board Designer is a key member of the Avidyne Hardware Engineering Team, a multidisciplinary, tight-knit group of engineers and technicians who develop and support Avidyne’s wide array of products and projects.
